SBI Clerk/IBPS Clerk 2020 Exam Pattern
Both are a 2 tier process
1. Prelims Exam
2. Mains Exam
I. Prelim Exam of SBI CLERK 2020 & IBPS CLERK 2020 :-
BOTH HAVE SAME PATTERN OF PRELIMS EXAM
- The total number of questions will be 100.
- The Paper mode will be English/ Hindi.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- The total time to solve the entire paper is 60 minutes.
- There will be sectional and overall cutoff.

Note:- There will be an overall cutoff along with sectional cutoff as decided by SBI/IBPS.
II. IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2020 Prelims Exam Pattern:-
The Selection Process of the Exam consists of 2 phases which are given below:
(i) Phase I:Online Preliminary Examination (Objective Test)
(ii) Phase II:Online Mains Examination (Objective Test)
NOTE:
- Prelims Exam is of qualifying nature.
- Marks obtained in mains examination only will be counted for interview call.
- Final merit list will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in Mains exam
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in prelims & mains.
- There will be sectional as well as over-all cut off in prelims & mains both.
- No interview process in Office Assistant post.
- There is no Descriptive test in phase II of the IBPS RRBs V Exam.
Pattern of Prelims Exam
The prelim exam will have total 80 questions which will be spread over two section which includes – Reasoning & Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam is 45 minutes. The rule of sectional & overall cutoff implies in the prelim exam. The marks secured in Phase I (Prelim Exam) will not be counted for the purpose of final Selection. This is a qualifying round.

II. Main Exam for SBI CLERK:-
The structure of main examination would be as follows:

Marks secured in IBPS Clerk Prelims will be taken into consideration while selecting candidates for Mains.
IBPS Clerk Phase II: Mains Exam
In the Mains examination, there will be 5 sections and 200 questions in total. Each question will carry 1 mark.

Note:
1. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks from the marks allotted for that particular question
2. Cutoff marks will be decided on the basis of Average
3. CWE Score will be available on IBPS Website.
4. Score card will be valid for one year from the date of issuing it.
5. CWE would be conducted at many centres as given in the notification.
6. Pre examination training will be provided for limited number of candidates for which online application has to be made
