SBI PO vs IBPS PO 2017 Prelims Exam Pattern
Note– Prelims exam is going to be the same for both i.e. SBI PO & IBPS PO.

Candidates have to clear all the three sections by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. Adequate number of candidates in each category will be then shortlisted by the bank for the main exam.

2.DESCRIPTIVE EXAM PATTERN
- The Descriptive Section will carry 50 marks and would also be an online test.
- The Question will be displayed on the Monitor below whom space would be provided where the candidate will have to type the answer using the keyboard.
- The Duration of the test would be of 30 Minutes.
- This test will be a test of your English language to judge the writing sills of the candidate where the focus would be on the letter writing and essay.
- The candidates are required to qualify in the descriptive test by securing the passing marks, to be decided by the bank.
- Descriptive test papar of only those candidates will be evaluated who had scored the qualifying marks in the objective section of the mains exam, and are placed adequately high as per total marks in the objective test.

INTERVIEW PATTERN:-
- The Max marks alloted is 100 marks.
- The marks obtained in the interview seticon is considered in framing the final merit list.
- In order to qualify this section, a candidate needs to score min. of 40% ( 35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) marks.
- There is no where specified about the type of language a candidate need to speak, its compeletely upto the candidates, in which language he/she is confortable, he/she may use that one. There is no need to take any permission from the panel before speaking any particular language during an interview.
