Staff Selection Commission takes the Combined Graduate Level Examination, for recruitment of various candidates for filling up different categories of posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations. Subject to administrative / public exigencies, final selection through the Combined Graduate Level Examination to specific categories of posts would be subject to receipt of intimation of confirmed number of vacancies from the concerned Indenting Ministries/ Department/Office/Cadres before declaration of results.

Working nature – Similar to state police but more powers. Job is very challenging and you should be able to work under pressure. Sub Inspectors in CBI does not possess revolver/pistol. Training duration is 32 weeks in Ghaziabad.

Working Nature – NIA leads investigations in terrorism & other national security issues, The job involves lot of travel, collecting evidence from sites, gather intelligence inputs regarding terrorists etc, During or after terrorist attacks, the work load could increase many fold which means you have to spend more time with the case.
Career – Senior posts are occupied by IPS officers. So rising very high in promotions not possible unless you are lucky.

19. Statistical Investigator-

As per your requirements and standards in your life, you set your own preference chart because noone can do that for you.Usually, each one of us has different priorities and aspects in life. e.g. some might want to have a posting in home town/city/state or simply Delhi. Some might want good working environment or money. Similarly, this can’t be the same for all of us. Hence, define your own specific priorities. Know what is more important to you.
